PURCHASES

Making a purchase is easy. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on ‘Checkout’ and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order. We also accept telephone orders, e-mail and fax orders.

We currently accept Paypal or in person cash transactions if you are local to us. If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your Paypal will convert the transaction to Canadian Dollars or your own currency. Some large value orders may require a P.O. (purchase order verification) or a bank transfer. We will work with you to make the transaction smooth and effortless.

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Items can also be ordered by post enclosing cheque or postal order for full amount including postage, but goods will not be shipped until funds have cleared.

SECURE ONLINE SHOPPING

We are committed to protecting your privacy and the security of personal information that you provide to us. The checkout feature of our online shopping cart, provided by PayPal, uses industry standard encryption technology to protect all of your personal information, including credit card number, name, and address. This industry standard procedure is designed to prevent unauthorized access as the information travels over the Internet, including transmissions from our servers to our order fulfillment center.

SHIPPING AND HANDLING

Items will be shipped with UPS or Canada Post. You have the option of selecting Premier shipping rates which will “Expedite” your shipment or you may choose Best Value shipping rates which will ship normal cargo. UPS Best Value guarantees that shipments will be received within 5 business days within continental North America. If you have a short timeline and require an Expedited shipping preference please select the Premier option and advise us and we will be more than happy to accommodate your request. The Local Pick up option is reserved for situations where the customer will make arrangements to pick up their order at our location at a pre-determined time and date.

There may be occasions when we reserve the right to hold or cancel a customer’s order due to unreasonable or unforseen shipping costs. These instances occur when the weight/dimension of and/or the destination of the shipment combine to create an exorbitant potential shipping cost. We will work with the customer to find a reasonable resolution if this issue arises as additional charges MAY be necessary.

If next day delivery is required, telephone us at 519-496-5006, BEFORE placing your order, as additional charges MAY be necessary. Shipping costs are calculated by product weight or combination of product weights and the destination.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

We ship to several foreign countries. Packages can be shipped via Canada Post, FedEx or UPS. Please use the shopping cart to place the order. We will send you an e-mail confirmation with the total plus shipping charges as we may have to make adjustments. No order will be shipped until you confirm/agree to the total charges. Duties are included in the price for our US customers only, however not included for any other country. You are responsible for any duties and taxes charged by customs. We always try to use the most cost effective method for shipping.

DELIVERY SCHEDULE

We deliver your order as soon as possible. Unless otherwise stated, we would expect most orders to be received within 7 working days within North America. However we are at the mercy of the courier companies.

BACK ORDERS

If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

TAX CHARGES

All Canadian customers will be charged 5% GST. Customers with a delivery address located within the Provinces of Ontario, BC, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and NFLD will be charged an additional 7%, 8% or 9%, depending on your HST rate for each Province. Customers with delivery addresses outside a Province with HST requirements will NOT be charged any additional taxes. US and world customers do NOT pay any taxes on goods purchased.

Additional shipping charges for returned items which we have sent in error will be refunded. Additional shipping charges for returned items which have been ordered in error by the customer will be charged to customer. If you are exchanging a product we WILL pick up the shipping cost to re-send the product to you as part of our commitment to customer satisfaction.

RETURNS POLICY – 30 DAY SATISFACTION GUARANTEE!

Shield K9 must be contacted prior to any returns. Upon approval, you may return or exchange any item(s) within 30 days of the original purchase date. All items must be in new condition (unless the return is due to a manufacturing defect). We cannot accept any item that has been used.

Customers are responsible for shipping costs of any returns. Shipping charges are non-refundable. Customers are responsible for shipping charges associated with returning product to us unless the product was defective or received in error. If you are exchanging a product we WILL pick up the shipping cost to re-send the product to you as part of our commitment to customer satisfaction. If we shipped the incorrect item, we cover all shipping costs.

For your protection, all returned items must be shipped with a receipt or tracking number. We will not be held responsible for the condition of the products being returned or for lost or misdirected items shipped back to us.

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES ARE RETURNS ACCEPTED ON SPECIAL OR CUSTOM ORDERS!

Once the returned product(s) have been received and inspected by us, your refund will be processed using the same purchase method used to acquire the item(s). If second day or overnight shipping charges are applicable to your order, those charges will not be refunded.

REMITTANCE TERMS
